Scientist contribution to society is greater than the teacher?

scientists are discoverers and the inventors but their guiding guru through which they have became such a capable person is a teacher.

scientists prove their theories to the nation but teachers educate the world making them the future scientists.

without the help of a teacher, none can become a scientist. when a teacher teaches, only then you learn things which would help you to prove various theories in the future. scientists reveal things which no one else could do but knowledge lightens every space which makes everyone capable of understanding and interpreting the theories.

My opinion for the above topic is that a teacher makes a greater contribution to the society as compared to a scientist. So I am against the motion.

To prove my point, I would start with a quote “Scientists don’t make teachers, but teachers makes scientists.” A child is sent to a school so as to make him a man of moral values and these moral values are inculcated in the child by the teacher itself. In the movie Tare Zameen Par also the child excelled because he had a teacher to find out the hidden talent and ability and guide him towards his goal. People who grow up and became a capable person like a scientist are also taught by a teacher. Great scientist such as Swami Vivekanand, and my all time inspiration Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was also a scientist and behind his success was the hard work and directions of his teacher which acted as a turning point in Kalam’s life. Teachers are the ones who reduce the difference between the rich and the poor. There is also a great example that there are many great diseases whose permanent solution has still not been found by our scientists whereas the preventive measures of these harmful diseases has been acknowledged to us by our teachers. One of such diseases is AIDS. We are blessed by the God with many thing but to use them we need a manual guide who is our teacher.

At the end, I would like to wrap my words by saying that a teacher contributes more because without a teacher there would be no scientist and no doctor.
