usually 1000rpm is good depending on your riding style, 900 - 1500 rpm, 900 for a nice slow easy start 1500 if you want to fly off the line....
94mph
I heard the Suzuki has more top end speed but the YFZ is quicker
For 1973, the idle speed for an automatic transmission is 600 rpm when choked, and 450 when warm. For a manual transmission, 900 rpm when choked, 450 when warm.
stock idle speed with transmission in Nutural should be 550rpm. they allow a +/- 100 Rpm, so a range of 450-650rpm is normal.
do you have a timing diagram for a suzuki 450 motorcycle
To adjust the idle on a KTM 450, locate the idle adjustment screw, typically found on the throttle body or near the carburetor. Start the engine and let it warm up, then turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease it. Aim for an idle speed that keeps the engine running smoothly without stalling. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions related to your model.
With no modifications, a stock Suzuki LTZ 450 has about 40 horsepower. The top speed is about 100 to 110 miles per hour.

The Suzuki LTR 450 and Kawasaki KFX 450R are both high-performance ATVs, but the Suzuki LTR 450 is generally considered to have a slight edge in acceleration and top speed due to its lighter weight and more powerful engine. However, actual speed can vary based on factors like rider skill, modifications, and terrain. Both machines are competitive in their class, but personal preference and specific use cases will ultimately determine which one feels faster to an individual rider.
