where is shift solenoid
The shift solenoid B for a 1997 Chrysler Convertible is located inside the transmission. The speed sensor has to be removed to access the bolts to remove the cover over this shift solenoid.
It is inside the trans, on top of the valve body.

The 1997 Ford Taurus torque converter solenoid can be found on the side of the transmission. The torque converter solenoid will be on the left hand side of the transmission.
