There is a condition called Phimosis, which is a constriction of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be drawn back over the tip of the penis. If you do have this condition, and only a doctor can tell you if you do or not, there is a simple procedure that can solve it, which can be done by a surgeon, it involves cutting the foreskin in a certain way that makes it looser so it doesn't constrict. Please talk to your doctor about it. If your pediatrician is a woman and you'd feel more comfortable talking to a male doctor, you can ask her to let you talk to a male doctor and she will certainly understand.
