it should be a kind of milky colour- i know because i have guinea pigs.
yes it is it can be brown too but it cant be black like my guinea pig
All the time.
Because he don't know where to poo.A Litter trained Guinea Pig know where to poo. They only poo in a certain place.
You should take your guinea to the vet, I don't think it's normal for their poo to be clear.
in my experience (4 times) guinea's don't poo abnormal amounts.
it may be because of your guinea pigs diet but it can be a lot of things like if it is ill its poo may be hard and big cheak your guinea pigs poo when you clean it out and make sure it looks ok and if your guinea pig is pregnant or has recently had babies it will just be that
your guinea pigs poo shouldn't be crumbly it should be moist and in a pellet shape. You should be feeding your guinea pig other things than just dry food. We feed our every thing from silver beat to left over salad! If this continues i suggest you see a vet or get a vets advice
This is because that Guinea Pig is not litter trained.A Litter trained Guinea Pig poops only in a certain place or things.
As wierd as it may sound, guinea pigs DO eat their own fecies. Don't try stopping them, its their instinct. It actually has so much fiber and nutrients, that its good for them.
Well, not really. If you clean there cage/hutch maybe once a week and bath them then there not smelly. Remember that you have to clean there cage, guinea pigs hate to run around in there poo or dirty hay.I belive you've made a spelling mistake with 'Guinie pigs' , it should be 'Guinea pigs'. Sorry if this has caused any trouble.Hope this helped:)
yes it is a natural and normal thing because as guinea pigs grow their poo gets longer or fatter and grows along with it. it wouldn't make sense if your a giant and your poo is tiny. if it doesn't eat enough then it's poo will be shorter in length. the answer to your question is "normal"
Well to me, i think guinea pigs aren't the best beginner pets. I think you should go with fish. Guinea pigs are a lot of work. You have to clean their water supply, food supply and even their poo. You can't just leave a guinea pig alone, like fish. Fish are much easier, just feed them 2-3 times a day and clean their tank every 2-3 weeks. I hope this helped! =)
salt wheels give guinea pigs some of the minerals they need but cant get yeah it is suitable for them but most of the time they don't eat it and when you clean out their cage you could axidently through it away with the other poo
