Yes because then their parents would not choose every thing for their child and the child should choose their bed time because then they know that their parents can trust their child and then they know that their parents are not controlling them
As a mother who have tried that due to child's request I say NO.
Rarely do they understand that they have to pay dearly for staying up (because they will sooner or later) and they will be tired and cranky in school and at home as a result. It also depends on the age of the child. The older the more responsibility, sure, but I also take big part in my children's homework so I know and see to that they don't have to pull all-nighters to pass. So asking about "children" who could decide, their ages range from at least toddler to 18, it will give you different answers.
Children need sleep and sleep is a period of growth and renewal for the body.Children should not be able to choose their own bedtimes because they are not responsible enough to do so. Also we would just have a bunch of kids who are tired for the next day because they didnt get enough sleep. Kids would be going to bed at 12:00am or 1:00am and they would be too tired to focus. As well they would have trouble in school because they would not be focusing that much because they didn't get enough sleep the night prior
The parent and child should decide together depending on the age 8 hours is just right
Because there parents don't own their lives!
definitely not!
You should negotiate a bedtime with them, nothing irrational.
believe it or not we know what we're doing
The question assumes that children should do such a thing, when the general consensus - amongst adults - is that they should not.
Because they need there beauty sleep.
no as they could become very fat but its helpful so u dont have to argue with them
yes because they are resposible yes because they are resposible
yes, because they re more mature then littler kids
They should help choose it and not fully chose it for you.
No, as a minor you are not allowed to choose who to live with. That is up to the parents.
when training children the personal trainer should choose single jointed exercise
The parent and child should decide together depending on the age 8 hours is just right
No. Their children get no choice. Their child would choose to live. Always.
It is there choose...
It depends on the child. Are they constantly wanting to stay home or do they have a real reason for wanting to stay home. You should allow them freedom to choose but the parent has the last say.
