It depends

Do the adult guinea pigs know each other?

Is the babie(BABY) girl or boy?

How old is the (BABY) guinea pig?

It mainly depends on that but all the girls should get on fine!

Two adult female guinea pigs can be a bit fisty at first but just leave them for a bit they wont start bitting or kill each other like two boys can do!

If its a (BABY) girl than you should be fine so should a boy but if hes more than 6 weeks old there might be a problom with him and the stranger female (if your unsure that they may breed try holding the boy up to the girl does he purr ?)

That should help!

anymore questions just ask!

When a baby Guinea Pig is born it typically looks like a small version of its adults. They can eat solid foods after about a week of birth. Young Guinea Pigs should remain with their mother until they are about 5 weeks old. See the book,"Guinea Pigs" by: Julie Mancini. (Animal Planet)

Yes! Female guinea pigs have two uterus's which means it is quite possible for her to get pregnant again within hours of giving birth which from a welfare point of view is neither good for the female guinea or her babies.
I dont think so because its his kids and there like humans just furry and small and they dont like to be took away from family trust me ive tried i had scratches and bit marks all over my hands for doing it
Yes, this is advised. Male guinea pigs are territorial and like to defend their home. They will fight other pigs if they feel threatened. They can hurt the babies.

You should separate the male piglets from their mother when they are 4 weeks old. Some people even do it at 3 weeks, but I think it's best for 4 weeks that way they get to spend enough time with her and they wont try anything. But which ever you choose, it does have to be between 3-4 weeks though. Good luck

About 4 weeks old. Be careful to separate males from females very shortly after as they are fertile at only 6 weeks old or so.

Guinea pigs love to have a companion, so, unless they fight, or one has just given birth, you do NOT need to separate them.

the babies are not in danger of being harmed by the mother, but they can be removed if needed at the least about a week but SHOULD stay longer such as 3 or 4 weeks.

Why baby guinea pigs look after themselves?

It's different for every animal, but typically, babies do wean themselves. I have animals and though most wean themselves, sometimes you have to separate the baby from the mother for a period of time and then you can put the baby back in. At least it's easy to do that with guinea pigs...
