so cops know its not a real gun.
and dont shoot you
However, it should be noted that, with the availability of multi-coloured finished for firearms such as Duracoat, Cerakote, and Gun-Kote, the presence of orange on a firearm will no longer mean that it is automatically treated like it isn't a real firearm, and law enforcement officers will err on the side of caution when they see one, and presume it to be an actual firearm until they themselves verify otherwise.
Yes unless you play on private property then it is ok but you may get arrested in other places for possession of an illegal firearm
no, paintball guns are only for use in a specialized area, therefore they should never be used in a situation where they can be mistaken for a real gun
Yes, they do have an orange tip. I bought an CYMA M14 032 from hitguns.com. Although it did not show it online it had an orange tip when I received it a few months ago.
Its just to distinguish it as a replica rather than a real gun.
This all depends on what state you live in. Some states allow "non orange tipped" guns while others have laws against them.
Yes it will still shoot. Legally it must have an orange tip.
Not in the US at least
I'm sure as long as you have your parents permission you should be able to purchase an airsoft gun or rifle. All airsoft rifles and guns require an orange tip on the barrel by law. So as long as you do not remove that you are okay.
No. It is there for a reason. Leave it.
no that's not a good idea especially if the gun is pretty realistic
Don't. That orange stuff is there for a reason.
Yes!

Impossible to answer without knowing where you are located. --------------------- New Answer------------------------------------- NO it does not require an Orange tip. Orange tips are only required on AirSoft guns and rifles. The Talon is a PCP rifle and and will never be required to have a marker tip that would misidentify it as an AirSoft gun. The Talon SS is in the high end of air gun firearms. that require 3,000 PSi to fire a .22 caliber projectile. Labeling it as an AirSoft gun could result in serious injury or death it someone might think it is Okay to point it at someone else and pulled the trigger, thinking it was a low powered AirSoft gun.
if you mean orange tip that it is a airsoft gun and that its not a real gun so you dont get shot by cops. if your talking about the bright colors on guns in the UK its the law unless you have a licence.
It is a federal offense if you remove the blaze orange tip of an airsoft gun, or any toy designed to look like an actual firearm at that.
For what I know airsoft is not "illegal" anywhere. Because airsoft guns are considered toys by the government, as long as you have the orange tip on your gun and your being careful of who you aim at then yes, you can play airsoft in StLouis.
Yes, as long as you have the orange tip, you can have an airsoft gun. Otherwise the police could mistake it for a real gun and you could end up in jail or worse.
Due to some city regulations, it is best to keep the orange tip painted orange. Painting the rest of the gun in fine and legal. To receive more information on airsoft gun painting and use, contact your local police department (not 911).
