should school students face a mandatory drug test
only if you want 85% if not more of school students gone, plus it would cost schools to much money in my own opinion
Implementing mandatory drug testing for school students can be a controversial and complex issue. It may be beneficial in addressing drug use and promoting a drug-free environment in schools. However, it can also have negative consequences such as breaching privacy, creating distrust, and stigmatizing students who may need help and support. It's important to weigh the potential benefits against the ethical and practical concerns before implementing such a policy.
does the government have grants for drug testing of school students
-Drug testing shouldn't be involved in high school sports because most kids are under the age of 18. -Drug testing should be involved in high school sports to find out if any students have taken drugs. -drug testing should be involved in any school activity, it shows on how the student will function during a school event or school day, also it helps in seeing what possibly is affecting their school day Not all drugs are bad. These test can ruin somones lives when all they did is smoke marijuana, which is very harmless and actually had studys to show it was hepfull and does positive effects on the body. However the FDA did not approve these test being performed as it can prove there poorly pereformed test wrong since they are sponsored by alcohol companys who want people to think its bad so it does not become legal and harm its sales
Yes, I went to a charter school they required random drug screenings.
testing students in school or public.
I believe we (or rather, THEY...) should have t-shirts made up that say : "Just say no to drug tests!"

The teacher's role in school for preventing drug addiction and HIV is issuing guiding and counseling and educating the students on the dangers of drug addiction and HIV.
Here are some pros to the argument:Kids who get started on drugs can be helped if you know who they areSchool is tough enough without being high while you're trying to learnDrug addicts cause trouble for other students
Supreme Court Case where mandatory drug testing were administered to students that wanted to participate in extracurricular activities. The parents fought that it was a violation of the 4th amendment rights. The court of appeals said their policy in fact did violate the amendment. The court also said that the school had to have some sort of proof that drug abuse was occurring .
well it depends on how many students are in your school. at my school, which also happens to do drug testing, we have 300 students. so i have a 1 in 300 chance of being tested. Its usually done randomly by a computer, but i would just not smoke to be 100% sure.
