Most of the one's I have run across do not have an overflow. Mainly used for disposal, dumping out drinks, etc, not for washing so overflow not really an issue. Also, most are stainless which do not lend themselves to an overflow drain.

You have to fill the overflow tank as the radiator does not have a fill cap. Run the engine as you fill the overflow tank but just up to the marks on the tank.
When it achieves the maximum temperature, it shuts off. Then when there is demand for the water, or it is at its low setting, the boiler fires up again until it reaches the maximum temperature set.
