Be sure to use something safe such as vaseline or an eye ointment that is safe for dogs. I would recommend using a gentle flea shampoo and rub all over the pup's body, using a gentle brush, making sure to get all areas clean, then let set for about 5 minutes. Then rinse off very well so no soap remains. Make sure you towel dry your pup very well. Trim toenails at the same time, is a great age to get them use to this being done. If you don't know how, then ask someone who does, such as your Veterinarian or a groomer or someone who knows how to trim their dogs nails.

∙ 14y agoUnless he is extremely dirty, a 3 month old puppy should not be bathed yet at all. If you do give him a bath, protect his eyes and ears and be sure to dry him well so he does not get a chill.
