I just had my first period today, it is a little scary. But remember to change pads every 2 hours when you first get it. It is very gross, the blood, but you will get used to it.

I've just had my first period and its very heavy. I was kinda frightened about it when i first heard about them but now I'm not that bothered. Just remember to change pads every few hours and you'll be fine.
I'm also 11 =P
ANOTHER ANSWER:
I just got my first period today, thank lord it was on a Sunday. I am 14, and I was embarrassed so much, even in front of my mom. I didn't feel normal. But I'm still getting used to using pads and I'm even afraid to use a tampon. So, I'm guessing it's normal to be scared, even at my age.
i haven't got my period yetand I'm really nervous but i wearpantyliner in case and if you start on a school day for the first day maybe take it off so you get used to bleeding and guess what I'm 11 2!!ONLY A WEEK ago ;P
When I first got my period, I was lucky enough to be at home, not in a public environment. Getting your period is not scary; but it's not fun either. The first time I got my period I was really excited for some reason because I thought it would be cool to use Kotex and their different colored pads. As time went by, (2 months later..) they were not thick enough and I was leaking; ALL OVER.
Here are a few tricks to staying safe and happy.
-Use No Wings Always Pad that have extra protection.
-I wear two during the day and two at night. This because at night, while you are lying down, blood can drop from your vagina down towards your anus. This may sound weird, but its life. To solve this, where a pad going slightly past your anus to have any stray blood sink into the pad.
-I wear two during the day because I am VERY self-conscious. I am so nervous that'll drop down my leg. This is VERY unlikely so don't worry.
When you get yours, be happy and stay fresh!
You might feel scared or alone when you first get it but it isn't scary really. It's more annoying then anything. The most important thing to remember is it's natural and if you feel like you need to talk to someone, talk to an adult you trust. They can't help you through it, if you don't explain.
Yes, this is very normal, the first time i went to put a tampon in a was very scared, but dont worry. If you get all nervous before you insert a tampon try and relax as it will make the tampon go in easier if your muscles are all relaxxed and not tensedup.
Firstly, you take a deep breath and remind yourself that your period is nothing to be scared of - fear comes from ignorance, learn more about your period and you'll feel more in control. Put on a menstrual pad and let your mom or guardian know that you have started your period, ask them any question you have and talk about how you might want to celebrate becoming a woman.
No, it means you're becoming a woman and your body is maturing! You should be excited!
no were all different
Embarrassed, bad, weird, paranoid, scared, and like a pencil. Wait, what?
Talk to people you trust like your parents and some friends. Its better to tell someone. And also tell them directions before you do the cycle.
Do not be scared to tell your mom. She will help you learn how to take care of yourself and teach you what to do. There is NO reason to be scared to tell your mom. She knows it will happen soon and will not be mad at you, plus, she has been through it too.
It is not possible to know you are a week pregnant. The earliest reliable period of time is two weeks. There is no reason you should be in pain. However if you are scared, and you have every right to be, then use a home pregnancy test or see your doctor
u shouldn't text him CALL him don't be scared to CALL him
Nothing. Period.
nope.
It's normal to feel nervous or anxious on the first day of school. Remember that many others are likely feeling the same way. Take a deep breath, stay positive, and be yourself.
It is probably just the symptoms you get before a period. If your period doesn't come, take a test
your period should be a browny red colour.
My first period was the same as the rest of them. It should be kinda red-brown.
