It depends on how friendly the breakup was, and why you want to call him/ her. If you're calling because you want to get back together, if he or she is with somebody else do you think you'd be OK to hear that?
Then again, my girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me once, and then 6 months later came over and said she wanted me back. It was difficult because I was sort of taken at the time. She took it really badly actually. After a couple of weeks though, I realised that I was always happier with her than anybody after her, and took her back.

∙ 16y agoYou can call when you feel necessary but don't be overbearing or needy. Give them some time and space directly after or even over night then try talking the next day.
