The UV light from a tanning bed cannot harm the unborn baby. UV light doesn't penetrate deep enough. BUT Tanning while pregnant is not something you should because of the heat factor. Just like you should not go into a hot tub when pregnant...you should not tan when pregnant either. A tanning bed creates alot of heat...that heat can make you(and your baby) uncomfortable. Anything that makes your baby uncomfortable is something you want to stay away from...just to be safe.
No--tanning in a stand up bed is actually less harmful to a baby when you compare it to tanning in a lay down bed. Make sure to get a doctors consent before tanning in a bed while pregnant though.
You won't get a miscarriage if you tan. I currently work at a tanning salon and we must know if you are pregnant so that we can inform you to stay hydrated. Tanning beds dehydrate you and so does being pregnant, so if you do go tanning while pregnant be sure to stay hydrated!
of course you should because ....
The UV light only penetrates about an inch into your skin, so theres no risk to harming the baby while tanning. The only risk involved in pregnant women tanning is the woman overheating in the bed, which COULD affect the baby. Doctors usually recommend for pregnant women to only go 10 minutes at a time in the lowest strength bed. Most tanning salons require a doctors note from pregnant women wanting to tan. If you're worried about the bed, try a spray tan!
on a reg tann bed sperm can go up ur fanny and u can get pregnant lol
yes , its advisable to unplug a tanning bed when not in use.
You should never use a tanning bed. You'll get skin cancer.
You should wear tanning lotion when on a tanning bed because these lotions that you buy at the salon help you absorb the tan better.
