No, bad idea. Who leaves when it goes bad? It could also be considered sexual harassment or you could be accused of sexual harassment whether it is true or not.

When I worked in big-box retail I used to sleep with one of the women from the Garden department. Okay, we are married to each other so it didn't really count.

If you're NOT married to the person you want to sleep with, this isn't a good idea. If you get promoted over your SO, could you give orders to your SO? If your SO gets promoted over you, could you take orders from that person? And if you remain peers, will office politics get in the way of your doing a good job?
