There is no reason you should need to know this unless you are a drug addict and on methadone already. If you are taking methadone, you should not be prescribed percocets. But if you are looking for ways to get higher yes, they work together, just adds to the effects of each other.
No, if you are going to mix them you would want to take the percocet first as it has a more euphoric effect than methadone. If you take the methadone first, it will block out the percocet effect (or most of it). Methadone is much more powerful and longer lasting than percocet in terms of opioid strength so it will overpower the percocet. In my personal opinion from experience, taking both together is absolutely pointless. These two drugs do not really mix well together and will not add to your "high" if you take both. WHatever medication you take first is the effect you will feel.
Yes but its best if your on a small dose of methadone and take the percocet after as needed for breakthrough pain... Methadone blocks ur opiate receptors so ur not gonna get extra high... Neither drug will.increase the euphoric effect of the other... In fact methadone will make it harder to feel.any euphoric effect caused by an opiate
from what i understand methadone blocks the effects of percocet anyway so whats the use in taking it?? as far as co q-10 that im not sure about.
You should contact your doctor before mixing these drugs, but Methadone is not listed as a drug that interacts with Bactrim.
how long should someone wait to take the azithromycin while on methadone to clear their system
8 hours
It all depends on what exactly your allergic to. If you are allergic to all opiates, than NO, you cannot take methadone, but if you are allergic to a certain chemical in morphine than you can take methadone because it is a different type of opiate and it is synthetic. But I would consult your physician before taking another opiate like methadone if you are allergic to morphine. But for example, my friend was allergic to "Percocet" because of the acetaminophen that is mixed in with the pill, but he was able to take oxycontin, which is the same drug as is used in percocet, because the acetaminophen was absent.
No, methodone does not contain any acetaminophen. Tylenol contains acetaminophen.
You should discuss this with the oral surgeon or the anethesiologist. Percocet and local anesthetics are both used to treat pain, and the quantity of percocet that you take will affect how much local anesthetic they administer you.
maybe a whole lot of Percocet. be careful though. Percocet has a buffer in it and taking too much can be toxic. oxycodone is the active ingredient which is also in roxycontin and oxicontin. there is no buffer in those. try suboxon or subutex. it didn't work for me but I have known it to work for others
No, if you take methadone, you should not mix it with suboxone. Make sure the methadone is out of you system before taking suboxone. Combining these medications can result in instant withdrawals and severe sickness.
Methadone should only be taken orally as prescribed by a physician.
It is not recommended to take methadone if you are already on soboxone. Your system must be free of one before taking the other.
No i wouldn't recommend it. i would assume that someone with sever liver problems should not take percocet either.
