Signal lights and hazard lights not working in 2002 passat?
It's the turn signal indicator-located behind the hazard lights. You have to take it out and replace it.
I found the brake light fuse for a 2004 Passat.... slot 13. Found it by pulling out each stupid fuse individually when I was trying to shut off my never shutting off brake lights. Good luck! There is a card on the back of the panel in the 2004 Passat, showing which fuse does what. However despite all brake lights not working, replacing the fuse didn't help.
On a 2003 passat Clicking sound remains after turn signal cancels if you toy with hazard flasher switch you can get to stop is this switch bad and how do you replace?

The heater-ac fan and window demist fan have stopped working on your 1998 VW Passat The fuses are ok Where else do you look?
FUSE UNDER HOOD?? OR SWITCH GONE I found the answer, and solved the problem. Seems that the indicators are fed from the hazard switch, which becomes unreliable if any movement occurs, usually as the result of age or some such thing. Anyway, carefully pry out the hazard switch, and replace it NZD60, and hey presto, all is well.
