1) He walks by you more than usual

2) He glances at you a lot

3) He starts talking to either you or your friends

4) He starts hanging out near you and your friends

5) He may look you up and down every once in a while

6) You may start hearing rumors about you if he is popular

7) This is unlikely, but he may either ask you out to the dance, or on a date.
