Some common sins that youth engage in today include substance abuse, such as alcohol and drugs, dishonesty and lying, sexual immorality, such as premarital sex, and materialism and greed. It is important for youth to be mindful of their actions and their consequences, and to strive to make ethical and moral decisions.

Why do the youth continue doing sin?

Somewhere in the christers' bible it says "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." and elsewhere it talks about removing the beam from your own eye before commenting on the mote in your brother's. These two messages indicate that perhaps the "youth" aren't "doing sin" any more than any other group. It just seems that way to some observers. It is the nature of people younger than us to do things that don't follow the older generations arbitrary rules for behavior. Neither the words "youth" or the word "sin" are really useful. "Youth" can mean a rapping teen spouting lyrics that would make an old-time sailor blush, or a graduate nurse off to Nigeria to promote the use of condoms. Both are "youth" to someone, and both would be "doing sin" to some folks. In the same manner hidebound old folks (my demographic) who hold decade old grudges and work against needed social reform are every bit as much "doing sin"

What are the parallels between Adam and Eve covering themselves with figs leaves to the created world beneath of youth today?

No correlation to youth but to mankind as a whole. The leaves are a type and shadow of how mankind tried to cover it's own sin with good deeds or sacrifices. God had to perform the act of forgiveness Himself by offering a blood sacrifice of the lamb and then ultimately His son Yeshua.

What is sin and why sin might not matter as much in today's society as it did in the past?

A sin is something a person does that is against the ten commandments or against the will of the Lord. It doesn't matter much now to people because now-a-days people are more likely to sin and it is more accepted by society and it might even be the cool thing to do. In the eyes of God, sin is sin and it matters as much as it did a thousand years ago as it does now.
