It all depends on where it hurts, it it is your jaw, then it might be your teeth. If not then you might have a small tear on the roof of your mouth, or it could be just a scrape. If it bothers you a long time, then I suggest taking a trip to the doctor, not a dentist.

∙ 9y agoIf you're experiencing a sore jaw underneath your teeth, chances are you have a tooth infection, gingivitis, or lock jaw. Your best bet would be to get to your dentist ASAP.
