St Eulalia was a martyr in in the last decade (or around that time) of 304. Supposedly ( because her story is mostly based off legends) she was ordered to be tortured by judge Dacian. Some sources say she went through the "thirteen tortures" They say her body was ripped by hooks and when they aplied fire to her wounds to further her pain her long hair cought on fire and she died. As she was dieing a white dove emerged from her mouth and flew straight twowards the heavens. Some say she was thrown on the street after she died without coverings and it snowed only in her imediat area to cover her. She is the patron Saint of Merida, Spain Oviedo, Spain runaways torture victims widows. ( links are by = Saints.SQPN.com = She is also known as Aulaire of Merida, Aulazie of Merida, Olalla of Merida

Her feast day is Dec 10. She is often confused with Saint Eulalia of Barcelona she may even be one and the same.
