Started spotting pink and brown 7 days after sex a whole week before period was due It lasted 12 days and only on day 8 and 9 it was red could this be miscarriage or implantation bleeding?

That is definitely not implantation bleeding but could be a miscarriage or something else. If this is not normal for you, then you should see a doctor.

It all depends on where in your cycle you were when you had sex and started bleeding. The bleeding could just be from the sex itself, you may have gotten a scratch or tear inside that is bleeding, you could be starting your period early or you could be experiencing implantation bleeding. If it is implantation bleeding it may be bright pink or dark brown and only enough to be considered 'spotting' and not a period. If it is heavy bleeding it is not implantation bleeding. If you are pregnant and bleeding red call your doctor ASAP. If you recently had sex it could just be from a sensitive cervix. When i was pregnant and spotting my docs office told me no sex and I was on bed rest for 7 days after the spotting ended.
