im almost certain that they came with 3.42 or 3.43 gears stock. i know its 3.4? something
automatic z28's came with 2.73 rear gear
manual z28 came with 3.42 rear gear
6 speed manuals came with 3.42. Autos were 2.73 with optional 3.23 (If your shifter has PRND2 then you have 2.73. If you have PRND21 then you have 3.23)
I believe they are 3.42.
Assuming you're referring to a 93-97 LT1, 275 93-95, 285 96-97
LT1 by far, if you add bolt-ons to both cars the gap will increase even more, its really not even a contest the LT1 puts about 270rwhp and the mustang puts about 220rwhp the 93-02 trans am and camaro will beat the any mustang gt from that same time span
code 66 is Air conditionig refrigerant pressure sensor circuit.
93-97 z28 camaro's have 275 stock horsepower at the crank, not RWH.
Neither, It comes with a 5.7 liter vortec. The ls1 is in camaro's and firebirds after 98 and corvette's after 97, The lt1's are in the 93-97 camaro's, firebirds, and corvettes and maybe a couple others but they aren't in the Pick ups. Hope that helps.
If I understand correctly what you are asking.....The 1993 Camaro (Z28) had an LT1 engine, but used the non-electric version 4L60. The 4L60E was not used until 1994.
stock lt1: 93-95 275 hp to the crank 96-97 285 hp to the crank http://www.hpsalvage.com/lt1.htm
94 did come with it. LT1 started in the 93 Z28's it has a strong motor i have a 94 z28 and iv done replaced 3 transmissions
you have to remove the air intake and its right under there..but of course its deepset...no room to work on those big of motors in a camaro lol.....i got a 94 z28
160 hp
A very good possibility is the opti spark distributor. If this distributor gets slightly damp,it can cause several problems.
