Yes Dimitri is made into a strigoi in the 3rd or 4th book. In the 5th book Rose finds a way to turn him back but it involves Lissa using spirit and learning to fight, which Rose isn't happy about at all. Dimitri is eventually turned back without bonding to Lissa like Rose. He doesn't quite act the same though.
No, Dimitri from Vampire Academy is not a Strigoi. He becomes a Strigoi temporarily due to being turned into one by other Strigoi, but with the help of Rose, he is restored back to his original Dhampir form.
Strigoi are more stereotypical vampires, they are very strong, cannot go out in sunlight, are very fast and also kill people to drink there blood!
In Vampire Academy, they were at one point, either Dhampire, moroi or human! This is why it is so strange that they suddenly want to kill everyone that they were once in a community with!
I really don't think Mason lied. I think Mason was telling the truth about Dimitri becoming Strigoi
The girl on the cover of "Vampire Academy" is likely Rose Hathaway, one of the main characters in the book. She is a dhampir, a half-human, half-vampire guardian-in-training. The cover often features a striking and mysterious image of her, reflecting her character's strength and complexity.
yes
I think so, since she's shadow kissed and all. I really do wish it would happen! I love Dimitri too much to let him go!
Of course Vampire Academy is better! I was attracted to the book ever since I started reading the first paragraph. It keeps making me want to read more and more. I'm looking forward to the last book, it's gunna be awesome! But for Twilight, I started to get bored in the middle of the book and was going to quit it but decided to read on since I had no other book to read...-finished Vampire Academy too quickly- But both of them are really great series, I guess it's up to ur own preference. VAMPIRE ACADEMY FTW!! ROSE n DIMITRI FTW!! ^^
Dracula by Bram Stoker was the first. Vampire Academy is really good Second
twilight! Vampire academy!
twilight! Vampire academy!
The main character in Vampire Academy is Rose Hathaway. She is a Dhampir, a half-human, half-vampire hybrid, training to be a guardian to protect the Moroi vampires. Rose is strong-willed, fierce, and loyal to her best friend, Lissa Dragomir.
I'm not really sure when you mean by symbolism in this series but I can tell you there are important symbols in these books that mean something. For example the molnija marks which symbolises the strigoi kills you have made. There is a promise mark which dhampirs get when they graduate so it means they are an official guardian. There's more but I'm not sure if I remember them properly. THough I hope I answered your questions.
Yes, the "Bloodlines" series by Richelle Mead features Rose Hathaway and Dimitri Belikov from the "Vampire Academy" series as secondary characters. The spin-off series follows Sydney Sage, an alchemist introduced in the original series, as she becomes involved in a new paranormal world.
