Physical properties of the match would include thing such as its state, colour, odour, density and solubility.
Chemical changes in the match would be such things at its ability to burn and the chemical changes of when the match is lit and there becomes a flame.
Hope this helps a bit :)
chemical change
chemical
lightning is a match physical
Striking a match results in faster chemical reaction than any of the other actions listed.
it is a chemical change.... so i would assume it is a chemical matter. it is a chemical change because of phosphrosus on the end of the match changes in to co2
Itβs a physical change because itβs changing when is a chemical change itβs gaming
Exothermic because the fire or spark created by striking the match is releasing energy
This is a little tricky. Striking a match is a physical act, but it does induce chemical changes. It depends on exactly what you mean by "lighting", ultimately. The end result is definitely a chemical change.
Striking a match initiates a chemical reacftion (burning). The proximity of the Bunsen burner has nothing to do with it.
chemical
When striking a match, the chemical energy stored in the match-head is transformed into heat and light energy.
Striking a match is an example of an endothermic reaction. It is also an example of simple combustion and a chemical reaction.
lightning is a match physical
The match has stored energy (chemical energy). This is released as heat and light.

Reactants
Exothermic because the fire or spark created by striking the match is releasing energy
It is a combination of both physical and chemical phenomenon..rubbing of the match against the box creates friction and thus creating heat which is a physical phenomenon.the heat produced then triggers a chemical reaction that lights the match stick
