It really wasn't an era. An Era was a much longer period of time. It was called the "Jurassic Period".

The Jurassic period was part of the Mesozoic Era. This era was also known as the Age of Reptiles. Other parts of the Mesozoic Era were the Triassic and Cretaceous periods.
