langue - language as communication system. It is the language known and used by the community.
parole - real-world language---considered as the utterances of real people
According to Ferdinand de Saussure, the two-dimensional system of language consists of langue (the abstract, structured system of language) and parole (the individual, concrete acts of speech). Langue represents the shared conventions and rules that govern a language, while parole refers to the specific instances of individual speech acts made within that framework.
Langue is the formal rules, structures and such of language (linguistic ability). Language is a system of symbols that make up words. The difference between langue and language is that langue is a "system" and is not necessarily in use while language is used for the purpose of communication. Saussure distinguishes the system of language (Langue) from particular instances of speech and writing ( Parol). The task of linguistics is to reconstruct the underlying system (grammar) of a language that makes it possible the speech events (Parol).[Culler 1997]

Ferdinand de Saussure is associated with helping to influence the development of structuralism in linguistics. His ideas on the nature of language as a system of signs and his distinction between langue (the abstract system of language) and parole (actual language use) were foundational for structuralist theories in various disciplines.
Ferdinand de Saussure is known for his structuralist approach to linguistics, emphasizing the importance of the interplay between language's form (langue) and its actual usage (parole). He introduced the concepts of signifier (the word or sound image) and signified (the concept or meaning), highlighting the arbitrariness of the relationship between them. Saussure also emphasized the idea that language is a system of differences, where meanings are created through the distinctions between words.
A langue ( "tongue") is a language, in which a parole ( from parabola) is a spoken word.---------langue nthe French word for "language". The term was used by the linguistSaussure to mean the system of a language, that is the arrangement ofsounds and words which speakers of a language have a shared knowledgeof or, as Saussure said, "agree to use". Langue is the "ideal" form of alanguage. Saussure called the actual use of language by people in speechor writing "parole".Saussure's distinction between "langue" and "parole" is similar toChomsky's distinction between COMPETENCE and PERFORMANCE. Butwhereas for Saussure the repository of "langue" is the SPEECH COMMUNITY,for Chomsky the repository of "competence" is the "idealspeaker/hearer". So Saussure's distinction is basically sociolinguistic (seeSOCIOLINGUISTICS) whereas Chomsky's is basically psycholinguisticRichrds, J.C & Schmidt (2002). There is a difference between Life in Prison, and Life in Prison without the Possibility of Parole. Life without Parole is just that, until the end of the person's natural life. Regular Life in Prison is 40 years, and then the person becomes eligible for Parole, which does not guarantee that they will be released, only that they will regularly be reviewed by the Parole Board.

Yes, a PO can return you to incarceration for disobeying his directives. The PO has full direct supervision of the parolee. As such the parolee is required to do what he is told, when he is told, how he is told--much like while the parolee was a prison inmate. Legally, there is no difference between actual incarceration and parole. Parole is just a change of venue.
