The obvious is gravity. Wind creates both lift and rotation, both of which create inertia. If the feather tilts, it will also be subject to acceleration and/or velocity loss.
The seasonal tilting of the Earth away from the Sun, causes the sunlight to strike the Earth at an angle that means the distance travelled is longer and cooling is increased. This means that Winter occurs in the Northern Hemisphere, and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere, and visa versa when the Earth tilts towards the Sun.
A pulley has an axle or pivot just like a lever has a fulcrum. Just as a lever tilts across a fulcrum and the fulcrum bears all the weight, a pulley rotates around its pivot/axle the same way. So in essence, a pulley is a lever wrapped into a wheel, with its fulcrum in the center.
Parachutes have a hole in the top to provide a smoother and more controlled ride. Without the hole the only place air has to go is around the edges of the parachute. When the chute tilts a lot of air spill out the high side, which is destabilizing. The hole lets air pass through, so there is always a flow into and through the chute, so it's not trying to spill out the bottom.
The length of an object's shadow is determined by ... -- the length of the object, -- the angle between the object's length and the surface on which its shadow appears, -- the distance between the object and the surface on which its shadow appears, -- the angular size of the light source as seen from the object, -- the angle between the direction to the light source and the normal to the object.
The Garden That Tilts was created in 1974.
earth
it tilts by it self
It's summer in Winnipeg when the South Pole tilts away from the Sun.
The Earth tilts toward the sun at an angle of 23.44 degrees, because the Earth rotates, the entire Earth tilts toward the sun during summer and away from the sun during winter.
The Northern Hemisphere tilts away from the sun in December and tilts close to the sun in June.!
How much the vehicle tilts forward when weight is transferred to the front, and how much it tilts backward when weight is transferred to the rear.
the way it tilts on its axis
