I think it was 3 months
Civil War Union soldiers originally enlisted were either signed up for three months or the duration of the war. Many signed up for additional time once their initial stint was done. After the draft, the required time increased to three years.
There is no more mandatory enlistment. It was removed by the "Bundestag" in 2011.

It varies from day to day, typically your combat arms MOS's or high demand (technical) MOS's will offer the most incentive for enlistment. You will however need to score over a 50 on the ASVAB just to qualify for a bonus, keep in mind a bonus is an incentive for enlistment and not a tool to get you to sign. You should be more concerned about the job YOU are choosing to do for the next few years over a bonus that will only last for a few months.
yes
The minimum age of enlistment is17.5, but you have to have a parent or legal guardian to sign for you, and you must be a high school graduate (or expected to graduate within six months of enlistment under the Delayed Entry program).
only if the ORIGINAL not REMAINING duration is 3 months or less.

On your 3-year anniversary from the date of enlistment. P.S. the quick ship is only an add-on of $5,000 to whatever your enlistment bonus amount is.
