I'm currently studying Art for GCSE and Still life is our current module. I was wondering if Waves (The Sea) counted as still life. I know in some artists work they have cups of water/liquid but are waves still an aspect of still life?
The waves on the sea's surface are tranverse, the waves below the surface are longditudinal.
In this sentence, the word "still" is functioning as an adverb, indicating that the waves are continuing to maintain a certain state or position without change.
Sea with no waves.
By the Sad Sea Waves
The sound of sea waves is commonly referred to as the "lull" or "roar" of the waves. The soothing and rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore is often described as calming and peaceful.
