Shakespeare treats death in romeo and juilet in a fair way

REALLY? THAT'S YOUR WHOLE ANSWER?

How about: Shakespeare treats death as if it's a common thing that happens everyday. The different characters deal with death in different ways. The Friar thinks of it as the person is in a better place. Lady Capulet thinks in terms of revenge, but would never potray it herself. Juliet seems to overlook some deaths and focus on herself and what's happening in her life, but then when the focus of her life faces death she overreacts and goes to the extreme by killing herself. (i don't want to give you your whole essay so ill stop there, but i hope this was a much better answer than the first one) :)

Yes, although they weren't all necessarily poems. Many of the plays he wrote were tragedies, and involved death.

Many would say "death". But it's too complex a play to be boiled down to a single simple theme.
