Pretty rare, nice look, very hard to come by,the wards western field (NO.47) tube fed .22 boltaction rifle was only made for two years 1933/1935.GREAT rifle, takes s,l,lr,(parts)cross refs with the mossberg 45a/45c. Value of the NO.47 could bring 180 to 450,an up depending on condition,an to the rite collector.great shooter,an a really great find!
I HAVE A WARDS WESTER FIELD NO 47A 22 BOLT ACTION, IT WAS MADE BY MOSSBURG
Ithaca Gun Co.
I just got a western field 410 shotgun and wondering the value of It
In 1941
The value of a Wards Western Field model 14-SD206A bolt action 410 shotgun would depend on it's upkeep. The condition would be highly important in determining it's value.
Mossberg, it is their M#85 ( I'm assuming that this is a bolt action shotgun).
Your .22cal bolt action rifle was made by mossberg. The model number is mossberg model 45A.
i have a 20ga wards western field 14m 215a it has 3shell clip
I would look at Numrich gun parts corp first. They may be found on the web.
Made by Mossberg, $150-$250.
THESE WERE MADE BY IVER JOHNSON OR H & R ,ABOUT $100 AT BEST
If your rifle is a single shot bolt action, I believe that was made by Noble as their Model 10.
