The red exclamation mark in a circle typically indicates a serious issue that requires immediate attention, often related to the vehicle's braking system or overall safety features. It's important to stop driving as soon as it's safe to do so and consult your owner's manual for specific guidance. Check the brake fluid level and inspect for any visible leaks, but if the light persists, contact a professional mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
my airbag warning light came on in my car one day last week shud i take the car in for service?
If the oil pressure warning light came on, it may mean that you have an oil leak. It can also mean that the sensor is bad.
from http://www.fixya.com/cars/t806377-circle_3_squares hi, i have a 318i on a 98, that light came on on mine a while ago,its a brake pad warning light, tells you they're getting low, however, the light was orange, not red. hope this helps..
If your talking about the 2 red warning lites then one is the "generator/alternator not working" warning light and the other is the "low pressure/no oil" warning light. The sensors may be bad or the wires came off or are broken.
You might be out of brake fluid. Our rear wheel cylinder was leaking and ran ours out of fluid and the light came on.
A VSW light came on in my Honda pilot with a triangle containing an exclaimation point in the middle. I do not have a owners manuel, so I am trying to find out what this light means A: That warning light means low tire pressure.
Your coolant level is low.
I also have a 1997 Monte Carlo LS 3.1 and I've had the same problem. It was the alternator.
I have a 96 Civic. Air bag warning light came on several days after I had been hit from behind in an accident. Cleared the code such that the light went off for a while. Came back a couple of weeks later.Eventually my battery died and I had it replaced. Once the air bag (SRS) light was turned off, it never came back. And it has been over a year now. Point is, a weak battery can be responsible for this light coming on when the SRS unit is perfectly OK otherwise!
If you mean a circle that looks sort of like a gear with an exclamation mark in the middle, it represents the Transaxle fault light. Have it looked at by a mechanic. I had this light come on while driving 75 mph....it slammed me hard. I dropped from 75mph to 45mph very quickly without doing anything. I noticed that the "transaxel light" came on. So I took it to Ford and they checked it out. The light came on as a safety warning. My battery cables were too hot. They replaced them and I've had no problems since. Good Luck !!! Ford zx3 owner
it means one of your bulbs have gone for your exterior lights check all of them my back tail light was out and that warning ligh came on.
Low tire pressure
