His first wife was Camille Doncieux. They were married in 1870 and had two sons. She died on September 5, 1879. Monet was remarried in 1911 to Alice Hoschedé. She had six children by her first husband. (Although one might have been Monet's.)

Yes he was- His first wife was Camille. But they had already had two kids before their marriage. But sadly in 1879 she died. He remarried in 1892 to Alice Hoschedé.
