Yes. She was laid to rest in an elaborate but modest Mahogany coffin. An unusual fact is that the Casket was Non-Magnetic, contained no metallic substances ( unless some jewels were buried with the actress). I have no idea why a Paramagnetic coffin ( to get technical) was used. these are very expensive to fabricate as special joints and glues are used in construction- and no nails or metallic fittings.
