Of course, not. The Jewish chief priests and judges had it all set up for their kangaroo court to murder Jesus.

They had trouble finding convincing liars at first... but finally:
"...At the last came two false witnesses, and said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the Temple of God, and to build it in three days." (verses 60-61)
Even Pilate's wife admitted to Jesus' innocence: "...Have nothing to do with that just man..." (Matt.27:19).
And Pilate recognized the travesty before him: "...saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it." (verse 24)
This is Satan's world... and there's very little that's "fair" in it. Man's governments [which are owned by Satan - see Matt.4:8-9 & Luke 4:5-6] dispense very little justice. This world's judges are easily bribed.
Jesus wasn't looking for "justice" or "fairness" at the hands of men. He allowed man's ignorant worship of Satan, who personally entered into Judas, take His life... that He might take it up again, to purchase mankind from his wicked master.
"...your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear... your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
"None calleth for justice, nor pleadeth for Truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity." (Isa.59:2-4)
God has already testified to man's abysmal lack of "fairness" and "justice."
Jesus wasn't looking for "fairness" or "justice" from the men who tried Him: "...because He knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in man." (John 2:24-25)
In the end... it wasn't Jesus who was on trial at all.
Men have always "judged God"... questioned His authority, transgressed His laws, denied His existence, replaced Him with gods that are no gods. Man's murder of God was the ultimate open display of man's twisted sense of justice. It was a place where man has never had the authority to go.
It was the first step in God's plan of salvation for man... created in His image. If "fairness" were the issue... the earth would have been a smoldering cinder in space long ago.
Jesus had to die [be sacrificed; God's blood shed] at the hands of "unfair" men, to reveal God's grace and mercy --Divine characteristics and traits that are in such short supply here in Satan's world.
