In Matthew's Gospel, Jesus was a descendant of Solomon, son of David, through the male line from his father Joseph.
In Luke's Gospel, Jesus was a descendant of Nathan, also a son of David, through the male line from his father Joseph.
Looking carefully at the two different accounts, we can see that Jesus was also the descendant of the great Zorobabel, son of Salathiel, but Matthew says that Zorobabel's grandfather was Jechonias, while Luke says that Zorobabel's grandfather was Neri. In other words, neither author knew. They were both writing Christian midrash.
According to the genealogies in The Bible, Jesus is said to be descended from both Nathan and Solomon. The genealogy in the Gospel of Matthew traces Jesus' lineage through Solomon, while the genealogy in the Gospel of Luke traces it through Nathan.
The names of the descendants of Jesus are not fully documented in historical records. The Bible mentions some figures such as David, Solomon, and Nathan in Jesus's lineage, but exact names of all descendants are not known.
Solomon was from the tribe of Judah, which was one of the twelve tribes of Israel. He was the son of King David, who was also from the tribe of Judah.
David named his son Solomon because it means "peaceful" in Hebrew. The Lord told Nathan to give Solomon the name Jedediah, which means "beloved of the Lord," as a special blessing. So, Solomon had two names, but he is most commonly referred to as Solomon in the Bible.
Jesus was found in the temple in Jerusalem, known as the Temple of Jerusalem or the Temple of Solomon.
Jesus was not directly related to Rachel, as Rachel lived many generations before Jesus. Jesus belonged to the lineage of King David, who was descended from Rachel's sister, Leah, through David's father Jesse.
Solomon was from the tribe of Judah, which was one of the twelve tribes of Israel. He was the son of King David, who was also from the tribe of Judah.

The bible is clear that Jesus was a Jew in the lineage of King David on his earthly adopted father Joseph side.Answer:Joseph wasn't Jesus' father, so his lineage doesn't establish Jesus' nationality. However, Mary was also descended from King David through his son Nathan (rather than Solomon, as was Joseph), and this lineage established Jesus' earthly nationality as Jewish.

King Solomon (son of King David) himself was never cursed, although because of his worship of false gods, God caused the kingdom of Israel to split into two kingdom. However, God cursed Solomon's descendant, King Jehoiachin, saying that none of his descendants would inherit the throne (Jeremiah 22:30). Israel and Judah were conquered and, in fact, none of Jehoiachin's descendants did inherit the throne. This curse is significant because of the New Testament claim that Jesus is the rightful king descended from David. Two different geneologies for Jesus are given in the gospels, both giving a descent from King David. One genealogy (Matthew 1) records the ancestry of Jesus' legal father, Joseph, who is descended from the cursed king, Jehoiachin. Of course, because Joseph is not Jesus' biological father, the curse does not apply to Jesus. The other genealogy (Luke 3) also names Joseph, but interpreters argue that it gives the ancestry of Mary, Jesus' mother. Mary is descended from King David, but not descended from the cursed king Jehoiachin.
Jesus was descended from King David.
In Matthew 1 it gives the family tree of Jesus Christ, from Abraham to Joseph. The son of David who continued the family line of Jesus was Solomon. Luke 3 also gives the family tree of Jesus Christ, from Adam to Joseph. The son of David who continued the family line of Jesus was Nathan.

The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus like a dove during his baptism in the Jordan River. This event marked the beginning of Jesus' public ministry.
