Was Jonathan Sperry a real person because in the start of the film The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry it says the following story is fictional?

Yes he was. If you watch the last few minutes of the movie "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry" it talks about what happened to the characters after Mr. Sperry's death. From what's in that last part of the movie, I am 99% sure that he was a real man.

∙ 11y agoYes, it is based on a true story. In fact, if you have noticed at the end of the movie their is a memorial year date for Jonathan Sperry. I believe it says "1849-1970" (?), so that should indicate he was a real being who inspired these boys lives.
