I think you mean, "Abraham sacrificed his son" as there is no record in The Bible of Isaiah sacrificing his son; although neither did Abraham sacrifice his son, though he intended to, but was prevented at the last moment by God. The name of this mountain was not mentioned in the Bible, and was not near Jerusalem, but Jesus was sacrificed on Mt Calvary near Jerusalem.
He was crucified and died for the sins of the world, as fortold by the prophets (Moses, King David, Isaiah, etc.).
The Romans were told and showed that he was the son of God, but chose not to believe it. Also, this was apart of God's plan. Throughout the first testament God slowly reveals his plan. Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 8:6-8, Isaiah 11:10-12, Isaiah 16:5, Isaiah 53:3-6, and Isaiah 53:11.

Because of Jesus' sacrificial role, John the Baptizer identified Jesus as "the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. In speaking of Jesus as a Lamb, John may have had in mind the words of Isaiah: "He was being brought just like a lamb to the slaughtering." (Isaiah 53:7) "He poured out his soul to the very death," prophesied Isaiah. (Isaiah 53:12)

But the government shot down that option (it was suggested by Mormons) and named it Utah, which in the minds of the Mormons fulfilled a prophesy from Isaiah, that the "Mountain of the Lord's house will be built in the tops of the mountains... and all nations shall flow unto it." (Isaiah 2:2) Utah is a Ute Indian word meaning "tops of the mountains", and Mormons believe the "Mountain of the Lord's house" is the Temple.
