The name Brontosaurus was given when fossils from 2 different Sauropod dinosaurs, bones from an Apatosaurus and the skull of Camarasaurus were mixed up.
The Apatosaurus is estimated to be up to 26 meters in length (23 average) and weighed 24 - 35 tons.
The Camarasaurus is estimated to be up to 23 meters in length and weighed upto 51.4 tons.
The T-rex is estimated to be about 12.8 meters long and weighed in the region of 5 to 7 tons.
In every sense both Apatosaurus and Camarasaurus were bigger than T-rex.

∙ 11y agoFirst things first, Seismosaurus isnt actually a species of anything. It was a the name was given to a set of bones as a mistake by its founder who thought he discovered a new species, but it was later revealed that Seismosaurus was actually just a rather large Diplodocus. With that being said, is it taller than Brachiosaurus? No, Brachiosaurus has it beat by about 10 feet but it is a good bit longer than Brachiosaurus.
