Robin Williams was a drug addict. He admittedly suffered from addiction problems most of his adult life. He also suffered from Bipolar disorder, and he had said that at one point when he made a movie or a show, he would stop taking his meds and snort cocaine to regain his functionality.
Sadly, Robin Williams committed suicide in August 2014.
