I was wondering because all the hardships they had to face. They were scared of the British, Indians, and Spanish. The government was not all that great and they were poor. People dying by diseases and Lasalle being betrayed. Many bad things went on. They had good things though like the explorer finding the mouth of the Mississippi River and other things. What do you think?
