The answer really depends on the size of the house. The RMS Titanic was 92.5 feet (28.2 m) on the widest. If the house is 48 feet (14.6 m) wide, you could say that the Titanic was 92,5 feet /48 feet = 1,93 houses wide. A house that is 48 feet wide, is pretty big.

If it's a smaller house (32.8 feet (10 m)), the RMS Titanic would be 92.5 feet/32.8 feet = 2.82 houses wide.

You see that neither of these give the answer 60 or 80 houses. If we go the other way, using math, to figure out the size of the two houses.

If we start with 60 houses, and the RMS Titanic was 92.5 feet wide, we would get this equation (with x being the unknown size of the house):

x = width of Titanic / number of houses

x = 92.5 feet / 60 houses - -> x = 1.54 feet (0.47 m)

According to this equation, we will need 60 houses that are 1.54 feet (0.47 m) wide to get the same width as the RMS Titanic.

If we do the same with with 80 houses, we get this:

x = 92.5 feet / 80 houses --> 1.16 feet (0.35 m)

According to this equation, we will need 80 houses that are 1.16 feet (0.35 m ) wide to get the same width as the RMS Titanic.

None of this actually answers you question, but that is because the width of a house is different from house to house. I would although say that Titanic was probably not 60 nor 80 normalhouses wide.
