Her body was never found since there were too many bodies to identify them individually. When the Allied armies arrived at the camp they found thousands of unburied bodies all over the camp, one of which was likely Anne. These bodies were all hastily buried in mass graves; since the Allies were trying to stop an outbreak of disease. The location of Anne's grave is unknown.
