Was the mother of the sick young daughter that Jesus healed 'a woman of Canaan' Matthew 15 ver22 or 'The woman was a Greek' Mark 7 ver26?

In the first century CE, nearly all the peoples of the Middle East spoke Greek as their everyday language, except the Jews, who spoke Aramaic. Because everyone else spoke Greek, it became Jewish practice to refer to others as 'Greeks' regardless of their ethnic background. So, both gospels are right - the Canaanites of coastal Palestine were also called Greeks.
