it deepened on whether they had a social class in their society. if they did then yes they would of wore something more fashionable and prettier for a party.
they did not think it was a "good idea." countries do not simply decide to have social classes. it happens. no-one forces people to live in social groups, but it's only natural that kings do not live with peasants.
The cat or the mau,as it's known in Ancient Egypt, had it's effect in the ancient Egyptian society.. cats helped, for example, in limiting vermin in ancient Egyptian crops and harvests, they were able to kill snakes.. so cats were able to coexist with humans as a domesticated helpful animalit's also known that ancient Egyptians worshiped animals and the cat was included as a symbol of grace and poisefor their important religious and social position, some cats were mummified after death as humans!
The social class that most people belonged to in ancient Egypt was merchants. There were few people in the nobles class.

There was potential for ancient Egyptians to move from once social class to another, but it was difficult. To do so, an ancient Egyptian may have served the pharaoh, married someone of higher class, or moved to a higher ranking town or village. Usually though, a person would stay in the same class their whole lifetime.

I am not very sure, but I think the Egyptians did have economy based on a division of social classes because they had different classes so they probably had different economy.
