Ir is rare for sure. How rare is hard to say, but this is not your common 1976 Ford F100.
DOT3
Yes, but it only has 105 hp from the 1982 f100.

A 1978 Ford F100 Custom 1/2 ton pickup LWB with no AC sold new for $5179.

In some 1982 Ford f100 trucks I know they have a 4.10 Gear ratio like my truck but with that gear ratio if you go over 55 mph you can say goodbye to your gas mileage so get a smaller gear ratio.
The vin plate on a 1955 ford pickup is located on the inside of the glove box door. it is riveted into the back edge of the door so if your glove box door is gone you will be out of luck on that truck.
I replaced my heater core in 1991 for my ford F100 I6 300. If I remember correctly , it was a tiresome job because you have to remove the black plastic housing under the hood; which has a lot of small nuts. If my memory serves me, the heater core is under the hood, inside the black plastic compartment. The core is immediately under the place where your heater core hoses route to the firewall. You should have an easy time finding it. good luck
I have a 1970 F100 and it has two lap belts that look original. I don't know if it ever had one in the middle, but I doubt it.
