Sorry, but what is a 22r ?
Are you trying to imitate Transformers or something?
Right under the intake on the passenger side of the engine, near the firewall but still on the motor.
I can't remember exactly, but it's on the intake manifold side of things. It is be pretty obviously threaded into a water passage if you look around by where the thermostat is.
On most engines including the 22r/22re the intake valve is bigger than the exhaust.peace
it is passenger side below the intake mounted in fuel line by the frame
.2mm for intake and .3mm exhaust. or .008in and .012in when the motor is warm. not sure for cold motor.
Im thinking of putting a turbo kit on my rebuilt motor a 22r with fuel injection intake on it ,for extra power.
For the Gauge, use the One that has only one terminal that is a flat blade connector. And should be mounted on the side of the intake manifold under the Thermostat housing. The other 2 are temperature detect switches. They are for the EGR System.
under the oil filter
it could be under the bed on the passenger side on the frame!
It's on the left side under the intake manifold. It is held in place by (2) 12mm bolts. Good Luck and Remember.Change Your Mind, Not Your Oil.Use the First In Synthetic Motor Oil's.See My Bio For more information.
The 22r is carburated. The 22re is fuel injected. I believe that is the only difference.
