Yeah, women were treated like dirt during World War 2. Men thought we were useless. But we can fight! (Not that I want to.) Good thing we have respect now.
Not only did different people respond in different ways, but people were treated differently also.

How did World War I change the way of life for women in the United States?
BECAUSE GIRLS ARE SMART & EVERYONE SHOULD BE TREATED EQUALLy
WWII men fought the good war. Vietnam returnees were treated as losers.

Boys and girls can be treated alike by not assuming they have shortcomings due to their gender. It is often assumed that girls are better at art, reading, cooking, and a few other sets of skills. It is also assumed that males are better at math, sciences, sports, and mechanics. However, those are social stereotypes, and both genders are capable of learning a variety of subjects. It is also sometimes assumed that girls cannot be logical and boys cannot be emotional. However, that is more a result of social conditioning. If they were both treated alike, there would be balance there as well.
He taught that if you are black or white you should be able to have a voice in the world and not be treated differently because of your race.
They were all treated differently and poorly by the white people.
German Canadians were treated very badly.
I don't believe there is a real way to answer this question. I think it is completely dependent on where you live in the world and how observant you are.
Poorly
Because if your were to treat them differently it would be called "RACISIM" and that isn't necessary in a world with multicultrual ethnic and customs!! anyways how would you feel if you were treated differently from your freinds and society it wouldn't be a pleasent thing would it? so there you go you have got your ANSWER
