Scientists consider birds a type of dinosaur. Birds are still alive and abundant.
One class of dinosaurs is still alive today: birds.
Birds.
they were first noticed millions of years ago during the dinosaur time
No The ones alive today are Birds. Whoever answered "no" is completely wrong. The ones alive today are both birds (avian dinosaurs) and usual dinosaurs (non-avian dinosaurs). Whoever answered "No" is completely wrong and is not an answer to that particular question. There are more than around 10 000 species of avian dinosaurs still alive today, and more than around 1300 non-avian dinosaur species are known in the fossil record, it is currently unknown how many of these are still alive, but at least around 100-500 as minimum.
Not quite. Birds definitely existed during the Age of the Dinosaurs, as specimens such as Archaeopteryx and Sinosauropteryx can attest, but birds didn't start to take on a more recognizable form until the Age of Mammals, when they really began to prosper.
how old a dinosaur is all depends on what type of dinosaur it is. it also depends on whether or not the dinosaur is extinct or still living in a way. such as birds. some birds decended from dinosaurs so the dinosaur lives on in an evolved way. making your question unanswerable , sorry :) x
Birds are direct descendants to the dinosaur group theropoda.
You can see a dinosaur at a museum.Edit: You can see extinct dinosaur fossils in museums.Or: look out your window/go out side and look in the air or at some trees and look for birds.Whilst some of the virety of the past has gone, the group Dinosauria has NOT gone extinct. Birds are theropod dinosaurs. There are about twice as many dinosaur species alive today than there are mammals!
Birds are a group of dinosaur. We know for certain that they are all around us. Therefor, it isn't even a question that dinosaurs are alive today.
most people think that all birds came from dinosaur times and the answer your looking for is no they didn't by Charlotte fennemore :)
Birds and dinosaurs existed at different time periods. Therefore, birds cannot fight, let alone kill, a dinosaur, so a bird can't do anything to kill a dinosaur. i love Amy
